Admissions and Hours
The Zoo is open everyday except Christmas and New Year's Day for your enjoyment.

Summer Hours, Memorial Day - Labor Day
Gates are open 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily with exhibit buildings closing at 8:00 p.m. Zoo guests are invited to remain on grounds until dusk.

Morning Zoo Rise Hours, July 1 - Labor Day
Gates are open 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily with exhibit buildings closing at 8:00 p.m. Zoo guests are invited to remain on grounds until dusk. Event schedule for Morning Zoo Rise available at Guest Relations. Not all areas of the Zoo open prior to 9:00 a.m.

Off Season Hours, September - May
Gates are open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily with exhibit buildings closing at dusk. Zoo guests are invited to remain on grounds until dusk.

Zoo Admission
The following are the regular admission rates for the Zoo:
Adults (12-64): $7
Kids (3-11): $4
Seniors (65 and older): $4
Children two and under: FREE
Parking is free
Same day re-entry allowed
The Zoo accepts major credit cards, traveler's checks and personal checks

For information about receiving group rate admisssion discounts, please contact the Guest Relations office at (405) 425-0264. Group rates start at 15 or more paying persons and must be completed in one register transaction.
Taxable group rates are:
Adults (12-64): $5.60
Kids (3-11): $3.20
Seniors (65 and older): $3.20
Children two and under: FREE

Non-Taxable group rates are:
Adults (12-64): $5.25
Kids (3-11): $3.00
Seniors (65 and older): $3.00
Children two and under: FREE

Zoo Services and Attractions
Strollers-Single: $4.00
Strollers-Double: $7.00
Wheelchairs: $5.00
Electric Convenience Vehicles: $20.00
Safari Cart (for seniors/disabled): $10.00/hour (2-hour minimum)
Pet Hotel: $1.00
Lockers: $1.00 (4 quarters)

Strollers, wheelchairs and electronic vehicles are rented on a first come-first served basis. Reservations 24-hours in advance are required for the Safari Cart.

Fins And Feathers Show: $1.00 (2 and under FREE)
Fish To Feed Sea Lions: $2.00 (seasonal)
Nectar To Feed Lorikeets: $1.00 (seasonal)
ZooKeys (Commemorative/Regular): $4.00/$2.50
Safari Tram (all day-day of visit): $2.00 (2 and under FREE)
Rock Climbing Wall: $2.00
Swan Paddleboats: $5.00/30 minutes
Centennial Choo Choo: $2.00 (2 and under FREE)
Children's Train: $1.00
Endangered Species Carousel: $1.00

All shows and rides will operate weather permitting.

The Zoo offers an on-site ATM, disability access, a first aid station, nursing and diaper changing stations. Lost and found and services for lost children/people are available through Guest Relations.

Pets, roller blades, skates, frisbees, glass containers, alcoholic beverages and straws are not permitted on Zoo grounds. Please do not share your own food with the animals or chase the free-ranging animals.

The Canopy Food Court
The Canopy Food Court presents a unique and delectable indoor dining experience in a rainforest atmosphere and can be utilized for catering and group events. A 300-seat indoor, climate-controlled food court, you can eat on the patio or dine in the rain forest atmosphere. Menu items include, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, sandwiches, salads, soups and kids meals. Daily specials are also available as well as BBQ, pizza, Mexican dishes and a variety of beverages and snacks. Assorted concessions, including the Safari Cafe and Savanna Terrace, are located on Zoo grounds.

Catering
The Zoo offers a variety of rental facilities for special events. Guests can enjoy a unique atmosphere and savory menu items for reasonable prices. Prices are available with or without catering. For more information, call Group Sales at (405) 425-0289.

I'll sell the peacockbass. I'm gonna move the Senegalus into the 92 with some more buddies (1 or 2 more senegalus or whatever i can find!). Another 10 to raise Senegalus in (newcomers and i'm gonna ATTEMPT breeding)(plus the lfs has 10g glass for $6.50 but w/out the filters and stuff). Raising the Channel cat to go into the future pond. (all this stuff will be done buy may, the pond buy march)<br><br>i just have to say if you live in or around Charlotte or visit if you're looking for oddball fish go to Pinville Pets. They are awesome! I also suggest for equipment and special ording fish Fintastic. And if you want the family atmostphere and excellent fish i definitly recomend PetLand in the Arbouretom! <br><br>The Concord, NC Bass Pro Shops has gars in their tank!!! Or atleast i heard this from a freind!<br><br>Anyone traveling through Charlotte looking for a good place to eat, fish, stay, places to get tickets for the panthers or bobcats, just give me a pm and i'll help u out!<br>

I used to live in Tulsa. I so wish i could could go back and see it!
