It's a nice little store with lots of oddballs. Mostly freshwater, but they do have a small selection of good-looking saltwater fish and corals. The owners really seem to know what they're doing and are very accomodating.

Good shop but has ID issues when it comes to species, Note currently they have a very nice South American Lungfish marked as an P. annectens. Recently they had some absolutely beautifuul Poly. ornatipinnis at a very friendly price.

I visit there about once a week.

This was actually the same store about 7 years ago I got a great deal by getting a fully mature pair of Poly. palmas polli for 75$ so I always buy something when there. They are a conerstone for the oddball market in the area.

They have remodeled and staff has changed alot since then, but I still recommend them highly to anyone in the area as the mission seems to have not changed much in the reorganization of the shop.

That is one very nice Lepidosiren... lucky thing you picked it up or it was bound to wind up in my collection eventually. It is good to know it went to a good home.

The staff change has definitely been for the better. The new owners are quite a bit more knowledgable. I worked for the previous owners, and all I can say is that they were significantly more concerned about the money aspect as opposed to whether or not they fish they sold were going to be taken care of appropriately. Also, just let's say that some shady dealings went down there from time to time before the place burned down in 2003 (and I'm sure that was an electrical fire **cough cough**).

this place is awesome....they pretty much every kind of bichir there is in stock!
Some of the fish were over priced but more were way under priced.
