they are somewhat seasonally available...there should be some available in the next couple months (small ones need close care and an almost constant food source). large ones are available every now and then, but they are expensive since it takes quite a bit of effort (at least expenditures on food, etc) to get them up to even 9-10". i believe i've seen them at that size (and sold some a bit smaller myself) for around $150 --

How fast do they grow? And what's the best way to ensure it gets food too if I'm keeping other fish?

Got one about 5 years ago for $15. (3-4 inches) Lasted a couple weeks. It was the only fish in the tank, too.
