What types/specific brands or models are you currently using with your tanks? Share it with the world smile.gif

2 x DIY wet/drys using Cell Pore media (good stuff!)

Tidepool II wet/dry (very noisy, but easy maintnance)

Emp 400's (good but I always seem to break a tiny piece on them every time I service them)

Fluval 404 (messy to service, but no other complaints)

Penquin 330's with biowheels (good, durable, efficient, and low price)
UP YOURS!!!

Canisters:
I've used Magnums in the past, good filters/great prices.
Currently have 2 fluval 404's. Great canisters, like the multistage options, easy to service. Decent prices.

Power HOBs:
I've had exp w/ whisper 1/3/4, marinelands bio wheel 300 (x2), skilter 400 w/protein skimmer, aquamaster 600.
They all work well, the aquamaster and whispers are quiet, the skilter is quiet without the venturi for the protein skimmer on, and the marineland isn't loud but isn't silent (trickle from the bio wheels), and was my favorite because it had options for 3 stage filtration. The whispers had an optional foam pad insert for biological, and i've always used bio balls in the back of the skilter and aquamaster for biological.
