Here is a list of my favorite Dallas-area fish stores that can be counted on to get in the occasional 'oddball' or hard-to-find fish. The comments express my own personal opinions and do not reflect the views of Aquatic Predators.

The Fish Gallery - located at 6955 Greenville Avenue just north of the intersection with Park Lane. Telephone: (214) 750-7002. This is an outstanding store with an excellent selection of freshwater and saltwater fish and freshwater plants. Tanks are well-maintained and the fish are generally of very high quality. It is unusual to find diseased or dead fish in the aquariums and, should you notice a problem, all you have to do is report it to one of the staff members and they will deal with it quickly and effectively. The Fish Gallery gets in unusual fish quite often and has an excellent selection of African and SA/CA cichlids. I give this store an A+ for quality and selection and an A- for price. Staff is fairly knowledgeable and don't get bent out of shape if you offer advice or assist in identification.
