1. clement and 6th ave. Yes there fish are iffy and need quarintine but since they have redone the top right side there are a lot more oddball fishes. Prices are cheap but quality is iffy so give take. Third Oldest since Nippon on Geary Closed.

2. Lucky Ocean Aquarium at 109 Balboa Street is a nice little fish store with decent prices Second oldest I believe in San Francisco.

3. Fairy Lake at I think Clement and 17th is a nice little fist store as well with great deals on Angels. The quality of fish here is great and I dont even bother quaritining anything from here. Oh and they have good prices on bettas and have a nice selection of them but pickings have gotten slim lately. The have also been in the magazines for their discus breeding. The oldest fish store in Sf.

4. There is another place on Taravel and 26th or 28th I believe. Pretty new looking fish store but I rarely go there.

5. On Ocean Ave Across the street from that theater looking place there is another fish store that has a nice selection of fish. I remember going there one time and counted over 13 different corry cat species in stock.

6. There is two fish stores on Broadway. The bigger one has quite a big selection of fishes. Haven't bought much from here. The smaller one which is a block up from the bigger fish store is a bit limited on fish selection.

7. Aqua Forest Aquarium which is a ADA authorised dealer opened up about 4 months ago in Japantown. It is at 1718 Filmore St. bet Post and Sutter. It is a bit hidden as the building is a bit indented in. They are the only fish store that has planted tanks and boy are they pretty. Biggest selection of plants and they carry some fishes you dont see anywhere else. I have my eyes on some odessa barbs and roseline sharks. My new favorite place to look at fishies.

8. There is Aquatraders at 395 East San Bruno, San Bruno Ca 94066. Bout 15-20mins from SF but as a Warehouse they stock a lot of fishes to pick from. They have some cheap tanks from overseas.. picked up my 45gal for $60 bucks here, seems to be holding up alright. and they have the cheap Jebo cf4 filters here. Good place but a bit out of the way.

9. Then there are the petcos and petmarts which I try to avoid.

There's another fish store in Castro somewhere I believe, I haven't found that one yet.

Just wanted to add to your list hope you don't mind.

10. Ocean Aquarium 120 Cedar Street San Francisco. This place is pretty small but there's an aquarium in every corner and in every space available. Each one is heavily planted and all of them thriving. This is the place to go if you want plants or nice schooling fish for a planted aquarium. Not much oddballs here or predatory fish but is still a treat to look into all the heavily planted aquariums and check out the fishes.
