I regularly shop here for oddball stuff that I don't want to pay World of Fish prices for and don't want to wait for a cheaper online store to send to my doorstep.

Nice part about PetsMart, go to their website, print off the item you saw on their shelf for $49.99 (website probably sells it for $22.99) and they'll honor it!

Their website is actually just a warehouse ran by another company... That's why their in-store prices are nearly double their website prices. I got a Penguin Powerhead (300gph) for about $17, shelf.. $35.

I've bought blue gouramis, black kuhli loaches, a common pleco, and some neon tetras... Some of the tetras died in the week after.. but that was expected, not tough fish. Had a blue gourami drop dead after 10 hrs.. I took him back and they gave me another, no questions asked.

Overall, great store.. Decent selection of freshwater fish. No crazy oddballs, but some basic cichlids, all sorts of tetras, mollies, gouramis, loaches, sharks, and a few oddballs that I wouldn't recommend.

Personally, I would buy my cichlids from World of Fish.. but that's just me.
