Hi, Fellow AP members.

There has been an uprise of topics in the last few days, due the fact of the forum software upgrade, transfer to new server and of course the skin (which apparently is not liked?).

So I am here today, as I got a few extra minutes to give a full list of what new... FAQs and more. Along with what's coming.

IPB Upgrade Information:

The following is full information of what was completed in the Invision Power Board upgrading and what new features the users can use and see.

• RSS Exporting, in the next couple of days. We will enable the ability to be able to read the latest posts, and threads via your favorite RSS program, whether it be iGoogle or a on your desktop. You won't even have to visit AP.com
• New Profiling & Friends System, With this new system you will now be able to comment and rate users. Along with these new features you can now add people to your "friends" list for easy tracking and communication.
• New Post Editor, There has been a totally new revamped post editor.. This includes thinks such as inserting Links, Spoliers and formatting your posts
• Multiple Uploads, Needs to upload more pictures? No problem.. With the new post editor it allows for multiple uploads of pictures at the same time.

Along with this few new features, speed and stability along with a more advanced admin control panel are just some of the features. See the post below for the add-ons that have been installed.

Add - On Information

Besides for what comes on the forum out of the box, we have added the following add-ons that we think you'll enjoy. See the next post for some that we are thinking about making and/or adding.

• Member Blogs, Now, finally you can create a blog for the whole world to see. With your daily intakes of stuff. This elimates the need of your own hosting, or your own domain name costing money. You can do it on the AP domain name.
• Wiki, Wikipedia.org is one of the biggest websites in the world, Now you can create your own wiki entries... This is an article system in itslef however, allows other people to contribute on an entry.
• Affiliates, Got a fish website, We'd love to know to about it and add it too our affilates.
• Gallery, This will allow for pictures of all sorts of things

The text is showing up all centered to me. Anyone having this problem?BTW....I like the white type. Anyone else have a comment? It's easy on my old eyes.

The text is showing up centered for me as well, and if you look at most posts if not all...its not just us...The white text is a HUGE improvement from the gray. I still think we should go with the background all black...most of the borders, advertisments, and forum links are black backgrounded and it looks strange against our dark gray...might as well blend it all together. I like the new options for posting, and the new control center. I havent really gotten around to setting it up, but look forward to it. Im not sure what changes you guys have in mind, but ill tell you what I think...Would be helpfull, and more aesthetically pleasing.

1. As mentioned - Black Background
2. Member Bar spread out on top instead of left.
3. Same for forum links - On top, or aligned to the right instead of left...
4. Change Lionfish or relocate to Saltwater thread?? replace with Freshwater pred...Chads Golden Gars would make a nice choice.
5. a nice P. bass pic for the Church of cichla on the main page...dm's Orino??

THese are just observations, and my opinions...I dont know who agrees with me or not...but I wont be one to complain on the site but never give feedback...hope this helps..

I do like the white type.
The auto centering of text is fine for me.

I would prefer to be able to see the last few posts when replying to a thread.

Completely agree, forgot to mention that! I also liked when it would list on the bottom of a thread who was reading the thread...

Im telling you, your Gars on the Black Background would look REALLY nice...the centering doesnt bother me at all...I kinda like it...what does bother me is the thread/forum? itslef being aligned to the right...that I would like centered...

Only problem I see just by looking quickly is the positioning to the right...especially so if you are on "reply" page.......otherwise it is all looking better....just know I was busting your balls the last time I posted I know there is a ton of work and time that goes into changing up everything up
with that said...the lionfish is still ghey and the maroon buttons....love the black and white. Also I havent noticed any pop-ups...which is a definite +++
