i think you'd need more than that. if i'm not mistaken, the default # of topics per page for each forum was at least 30 before, since the bichir forum has like 10 pinned topics and was still showing a good number of non-pinned ones. right now though all its showing on the 1st page are the pinned topics since it seems the default is set at 10 for some reason. i know users can change it in My Controls, but guests who aren't signed up/logged in wouldn't be able to, and this could be frustrating for them...

I absolutely hate the esthetics of this new format. It is dark (to say the least) and muddy to the point of disuading participation. What happened to that gnarly, almost gothic format that was being tested approx. 9 months ago....now that was attention-getting and inviting.

I like the black myself, but maybe because it's been so long since I used the grey (I think it was more grey).

When I changed, it just took me some time to get used to it before it didn't appear "muddy" to me anymore. That would make me think that in general, maybe, it's just the change and something that people aren't used to that would make it hard to look at.

And is the quick edit function going to be fixed soon? The text and box are still white so you can't see what you type/change.
