So, as a mod in those GREAT PREDATORS Site, I hope it’s time to show off my own “Predators” topic…
Here is the first Member of my Predators Collection - Florida Spotted Gar
He/She is only 7-8 cm. big, but what you’ll say about its Jaw…

“What kind of GAR is that?…”
As Sol said, and I totally believe him - it's a Florida/spotted gar - Lepisosteus platyrhincus/oculatus.
But actually, would somebody tеll me how many specimen of these unique fishes is it?

wow amazing close up! nice gar as well!

there are seven extant species of gars (Lepisosteids) and several hybrids of them. heres the link with the species

the big ones in those pics you posted are the largest specie, alligator gar (Atractosteus spatula)
