Grand opening on Saturday November 17, 2007!

I visited the store today for the unofficial opening and it is a good sized store. They carry fresh/saltwater fish, corals, plants, tanks, stands, equipment, dry goods etc.

They still needed to stock the store completely, but it looks good for local hobbyists. The staff is eager to please so they are asking for customers to let them know what they want the store to carry in livestock and goods. It looks like we won't have to drive into San Francisco or head to Concord for our goodies!

Let's support a local business!! www.vallejoaquarium.com

Great news for Solano County residents!

I'm in Sacramento and I'm always surprised at how Solano County gets hosed by lacking quality retail services. For example, there are 7 brewpubs in the City of Sacramento (population around 450,000) alone yet only 2 in all of Solano County (population around 420,000).

Yeah, Solano County is pretty lean on retail services. I have to drive to Fairfield if I need to buy a book!
Forget about decent pubs. But now I don't have to leave Vallejo to buy aquatic supplies. Things are looking up!
