I guess this has to go here! I've been twice myself. It's only the second public aquarium that I've been to so I don't have a whole lot to base this off of for a comparison.
The Ocean Voyager (whale shark) exhibit is HUGE. I mean just enormous. Huge groupers, sharks, rays... everything. The main viewing wall is simply incredible. The place is 85% salt water. There are some other ok displays, but nothing that really captivated me. The belluga whales are alright, but don't do much for me. Most of the freshwater is native stuff. Tons of catfish, sturgeons, gars, sunfish, bass, bowfins... All that kind of stuff. That exhibit winds all around you as you walk through it. There are only a few South American exhibits. The large one has pima, a silver aro, 1 motoro, some BIG pacus and various smaller fish, chalceus, plecos, severums. The silver is in horrible shape, nipped to the body by the pacus I guess. There is a small planted community tank and a moderate rbp display. There is a small tank with a few electric eels. I believe that's about it. I'm going again in a couple of weeks with my work, so I'll post an update then.

I'm taking my group from work this Sunday. I'm also taking my daughter though, so I may not get many pictures this time.

I was VERY dissapointed. the pima and the silver aro were off display. There were a ton of plecos.. a few decent panaques and and a couple of HUGE black plecos.. I have no idea what they were. Of course the huge pacu... The ONE motoro.. Some chalceus and some green severums.. Very dissapointing. If I had the chance to stock that tank, I would go wild. Maybe I'll give them a call and complain... and try to get on as a volunteer stocking that tank!!

The school of 100+ rbp's was ok.. the same as usual. I'd love to see a feeding.

About a 400g tank of 3'+ electric eels and a slightly smaller tank of about 25 5" electric catfish. One tank of elephant noses. Then one live plant community tank that's ok.

Overall.... dissapointed again....
