They are located right in town but it is a beautiful Zoo well maintained and nicely landscaped
when you enter the zoo they have a giant set of fake frogs that are water fountains
and you always see kids playing in the water (sometimes down to their underwear!)
they have a walk through avairy with scarlet ibis'
they also have a snake/reptile house it's small but very nice
there is an African savanna area and to get there you walk under a road and they have little "jeeps" that run on a track that takes you through a large area with animals freely roaming about (zebra, ostrich, impala, wildebeasts, giraffes and more) there is also a raised wooden deck you can walk out to the same location!
then there is their big cats and monkeys on the way to an awesome walk through rain forest with huge trees and plants constants "misting" and creeks (with fish on them) and a raised pool with a veiwing panel and a run off filled with a variety of rainbow fish!
after that you go by their seals and penguins over to the Austrailian Outback area where they have a 17,000 gallon "reef fish" tank and they just added a 50,000 gal shark tank which looks rather empty as they did not have all the new residents in yet and the sharks are still quite small about 24"
I'm sure as they grow this will be a great display!
there is much more so if you get a chance check it out!
