North American natives, particularly sunfishes (Centrarchids) and Esocids. New world cichlids and catfishes rank up there as well.

I'm torn between SA Leaffish and the brackish toadfish. I was able to keep both speices together for awhile and they both went together very well. Neither had a problem and they both were very interesting to watch eating shrimp, fish, or worms. Sometimes sinking pellets that appeared to be alive and tasted good in some drained blood from some meat for my hamburgers. If not, the pleco got it. Hopefully I can get back to that setup. Worked great in just 20 gallons.

Big, bad, expensive, rare, mean, huge teeth, dangerous, evil, fast... The list goes on and on!

That's my new favorite of fishes I keep at the moment.

its a 50/50 split between arowanas and gars . although payaras are pretty awesome too. but seeing a full grown arowana or gar on the hunt is one of the greatest thrills of the hobby .
