this guy at criags list who lives near me is selling a 15 inch silver arowana and a 15 inch tiger shovelnose. he is only selling the for 50$ each biggrin.gif
do u thing either one could fit in a 55 gallon tank????

i don't really think so. you may be able to push it (for the silver aro since it can turn pretty tightly), but only for very short term. as for the TSN, i think your 55 is already too narrow (assuming it's 12" wide). if you don't have a bigger tank lined up already at this point, it's not a good idea for either fish.

I had to give my 14"+ TSN away.. no one would buy it.
