hi my name is Jenna i live in mi i am 20yr old and i have kept cichlid and oddballs but now i just have one cichlid and a few oddballs in my 55gal. biggrin.gif And i love to fish and hang out with my friends. 2thumbs.gif

What are you feeding him? Starving might work. My 5" one only eats live food. I cant get him off it. That might be your problem. Its set on a certain food.

i have try pellets and so for he won't eat. But i am going out of town for 3 days this weekend so he won't be fed in till i come back.

all he is eating is live ghost shrimp..

I fed mine with Red Cherry Shrimps and livebearers upon arrival but mine were not as small as yours.

Have you try with defrosted tilapia fillet? My endlis where almost 7"SL the first time and went crazy after those portions where dropped in front of them (after they noticed them in the tank). I only have one male endli at the moment, wild caught, who just recently, at the 11"SL mark started to go after commercial fish food. He loves algae waffers, spirulina flakes, and sinking pellets.

Over 30 Years Keeping Fish

Currently keeping mostly North American Natives, But have a few Oddballs thrown in.
