I'm not loving the new colors. Makes me think of Walmart.

I actually like the new design better. The old design was too dark. Now we just need some fishy graphics.

I've not posted on here at all I don't think, and it is because of the fact that it's not very active...

But I also hate on the active forums how some people are too stuck up to even give you an answer to something without automatically assuming something. Ex: "my fish has HITH"- The advice "stop feeding it goldfish"
I've gotten infractions/banned from some forums simply b/c I hate when people can't keep their mouths shut and stop making things into a big deal.

From an advertising point of view (which is my profession) I would say that this forum looks dead. There are no graphics (not even text banners), and the colors lack in excitement. Even a nice banner can get things moving more.

As far as the new owner/site runner- I think that an avid poster makes all the difference. It's kind of like going to the petstore and you know there are employees there, but no one will help you. It doesn't hurt to post and make small talk. This fish "obsession" is a hobby. It's a way of life for some people. I know for me that if I ran a forum, I would be posting all the time, just to get more people into it.

I spend money every week on fish or related items. Yes, the economy is bad, but people are still into the hobby.

Let's hope we can all get this site rolling again!
