I currently have two males in a 75 gal tank only other fish in the tank is a Cali Stergeon. I am thinking about breeding the motoro when I get a female, but need to know some info on them before hand. How many rays could i keep in a tank this size and will it be ok to have multiple males in a tank with multiple females so far all I have heard is to limit my males to one with multiple females nut have seen many times tanks with 3-4 males and equal amounts of females in the same tank. I could use some good info here to help the process along.

i read the stingray forums on other sites and i can't remember anyone ever keeping even a single stingray in a 75 gallon tank. well, with the exception of brand new pups that needed to be moved out of mom's tank, but that is a temporary situation.
i remember seeing one guy that had 2 stingrays (don't remember which species), in a 180 gallon tank, he had to do LOTS of water changes, but he successfully kept them in the 180 for quite awhile begore he upgraded to a 300 gallon.
hope that helps.. from what i understand a 75 gallon tank isn't much good for stingrays. will most likely have to be a very temporary situation.

Ya I would have to agree... Get a larger tank for even that one ray you currently have...
They need lots of swimming space with a large footprint.
Also no more rays until you can get a larger home for the one you've got.
Last thing, isn't that sturgeon a coldwater fish and the ray tropical??
