Help, Snakehead strange swimming

hi guys

i got a violet snakehead about a week ago and when he swims he rocks from side to side?

hes in a 5 foot tank i had the the water tested today and thats fine, hes on hes own, the tanks heavily planted and temps about 80

i think he has been like it since i got him but he hid for the first few days so did not see him much

iv been feeding him muscels and he eats 1 to 2 a day i have offered more but hes not intressted hes about 5 inches long

any idears why hes swimming like this or is it normal?

hes the first snakehead iv kept but been keeping fish for about 15 years now

    i also keep P. Altum and Scalare angelfish, petenia splendida (red bay snooks), a few big catfish (RTC, TSN and a hybrid MRTC), a few odd plecos, "Ae." Rivulatus (F1), 1 silver arowana (thinking about getting more), and 1 Black Ghost Knife that i got in a used tank deal that i absolutely love.

wish i could help.. snakeheads are illegal here and i've never kept any. but they seem like awesome fish.

Hi,

What do you mean with "rocking from side to side" in specific ? I video would be cool :). For how long do you have him ?
Could be Channa spec. assam or Channa gachua, but this is more a guess from the pics.

You said you lost the snakehead and your shop also lost the whole stock of them. And you asked where to get brakish moray eels.
