Also this fourum is pretty biased, half the people that say gars can't defend themselves have never kept a gar. In the pet shop where I bought her, my deceased florida gar (5 inches when I got her 18 inches when she died) beat the living tobasco sauce out of the 6 inch clown knife in with her whenever It came anywhere near her. Also alot of people say their gars are lazy, thats because your tanks are too crowded and your gars have nowhere to frolic like mine do day in and day out. Although, I can't say I don't respect Arowana or their keepers they are awesome fish, and the people who keep them are pretty skilled in the hobby.
That wasn't meant to offend anyone, BTW
