Couldn't figure out how to go downstairs. The 2 girls working were busy talking to each other. I figured if it was anything like their freshwater, it wasn't worth the climb back up the stairs! tongue.gif

Those 2 girls are no longer working there. They are now working at the new Romeoville pet shop, same area that World of Pets and Karen's Pets used to be. One of these girls had been working at World of Pets prior to working for Pagoda's and had helped drive that owner out of business within a year. I wouldn't be suprised if Lynn is one of those girls trying to slam Pagoda's petshop with a bad reputation. The owner of Pagoda's had a lot of complaints about those 2 girls. So if you like that kind of unhelpful customer service go see them at Reef's Edge, which by the way has no corals because of the last hurricane in Florida. I kinda laughed when she said that since Pagoda's hasn't had any delay in his shipments. A lot of wholesale corals come from the western US and other areas, not just FL.

Pagoda's doesn't currently ship, but he is planning on adding that service. Just like he recently started a website, which is still in progress, http://www.pagodapetshop.biz . Some pages are available. So I'll leave it up to you to check out the Romeoville store, and then Pagoda's and see for yourself the difference in quality, customer service, and livestock. I find it's worth my drive from Orland Park to Pagoda's, better than the local stores in Orland Park and Tinley Park.

Thanks for giving us your permission to shop where we want!!!!! I have personally shopped at both stores and those in Tinely and Orland, and Pagoda Pet shop is still not worth my drive...and as for the new kid that took the 2 girls' place, I didn't find him helpful at all,,actually thought he was quite an arrogant little thing who really doesn't no to much about anything. I would rather deal with them then anyday..It's Pagoda's loss,,and Romeoville's pet store gain...

The new pet store is located on the corner of 135th st. & 53,,it's next to the gas station in the little strip mall...It's called Reef's Edge,,,I didn't see alot of big fish when I was there, but everytime I've gone in they have had more of a selection.

i read the first post or two and decided to go to Pagoda's today, guess i should of read fartehr down before i went.
the place was dirty and the fish didn't look very good at all.

i am in the market for a 96x24x30 acrylic tank he quoted me 2500.00 without any extra's.
the price is alot higher than i have gotten at other stores.

my two cents is Pagoda's isn't worth my time to go back..
