Reasonable criticism only, no angry bashing. (Good: Store employees not very helpful. Bad: That store SUCKS, I hate it....the employees are stupid.)

For zoos and aquariums please add any pertinent info such as admission rates, attractions, parking fees, website and anything else you find relevant.

For aquarium clubs please post any info you might know about it such as membership fees, meeting locations, when the club meets, the club's website and who to contact for more information.

Jan's is on Telegraph just west of Detroit, just off I-94. Two blocks from Pet Station. They don't have many fish tanks but usually have some sort of oddballs. Go there on Sunday and it feels like you're in a flea market for fish. You have to wait in line just to get in. Then you take a ticket and someone will eventually help you. Fish come in late in the week and are priced to move Sunday. Buy one get two free basically. Tanks are very reasonably priced and they have beautiful liverock for $5.50 a pound. Very nice and completely cured! Hit or miss on the fish but for liverock and tanks, this is a great place.

yes on sundays the fish are all half price and buy two get one free, but during the week the prices are higher than you would normally see on a lot of fish. i saw 5'' caribe sold there for $150.00 each. yes you get a good deal, but not as good as most people think.and yes there are good prices on tanks all the way up to 240 gallons overall though, it is a good store
