Aquatic Predators: Anyone know of a good fish store - Aquatic Predators

Rules:

Title of your thread must include the store, zoo, aquarium or aquarium club name as well as the city and state that the store is located in.

One thread only per store, zoo, aquarium or aquarium club, if a thread has already been created that location please add your comments to that thread.

Reasonable criticism only, no angry bashing. (Good: Store employees not very helpful. Bad: That store SUCKS, I hate it....the employees are stupid.)

For zoos and aquariums please add any pertinent info such as admission rates, attractions, parking fees, website and anything else you find relevant.

For aquarium clubs please post any info you might know about it such as membership fees, meeting locations, when the club meets, the club's website and who to contact for more information.

Anyone know of a good fish store around the Boise, Idaho area????

  • Interests:I thought I would put my fish and such here!<br />55 gallon freshwater tank<br />1 7 inch Black ghost knife fish... and his best friend a blue mystery snail that lives in the tank... he used to but the snail away.. and now I find them sleeping together all the time... this snail also likes to take rides in the bubble wall... and have &quot;fun&quot; daily with the black mystery snail)<br />2 clown plecostomus<br />3 clown loaches<br />2 julii corydora catchfish<br />2 albino cory cats<br />4 female fancy guppies <br />Like 6 or so freshwater clams<br />I was doing live plants in this tank until my inadequate lighting and substrate caused death of plants and water parameter problems.... we will be upgrading the lights in this tank soon so that we may replant)<br /><br />20 gallon Brackish tank<br />3 21/2 inch Green spotted puffers<br />I realize that this tank is small for 3 GSP. When/If they continue to grow (the don't seem to be getting any bigger as far as length) they can be moved... also... if their aggression seems to get strong I will upgrade sooner... eventually they will be in a bigger tank.. but it would be a lot of rearranging at this house to fit in a bigger tank) They are fat and sassy... and although I know that they can just snap and kill one day, they are great with each other..... although I can't feed them ghost shrimp.. that becomes too much of a fight for me.<br /><br />10 gallon Viquarium<br />I had so much fun putting together this little tank with it's little water fall!! <br />3 fire bellied toads (the first one I got who is super green is Dante and I absolutely LOVE him)<br />2 white cloud minnows<br />1 black mystery snail<br /><br /><br /><br />2 2 Gallon betta tanks...each containing a male betta (on seperate shelfs)<br /><br />75 Gallon Saltwater tank<br />started with GARF Aragocrete arches and GARF grunge<br /><br />Fish<br />Purple tang<br />Copperband butterfly<br />Lawnmower blenny<br />2 tank bred Percula Clownfish<br />1 Yellow watchman goby with tiger pistol shrimp<br />3 blue- green chromis<br />1 dragonet (Synchiropus splendidus)<br />1 Red head fairy wrasse<br />1 Bi-color blenny<br />3 yellow clown gobies<br />Corals<br />2 Kenya trees (capnella) <br />1 Toadstool leather (sarcophyton)<br />1 tongue (polyphyllia)<br />2 torch corals (euphyllia) <br />candy cane coral (caulastrea) <br />mushrooms: purple, red, green stripe, 2 ricordia. <br />Finger leather (lobophytum)<br />brain (platygyra)<br />green star polyps,<br /> flourescent green stars, <br />carnation (as of yet not identified between dendronephthya and schleronephthya), <br />montipora capricornus, <br />pumping xenia, <br />gorgonian (swiftia), <br />green button polyps, <br />brown and red zooanthids.<br /><br />Aslo.... <br />a mixture of 100 hermit crabs and snails<br />2 hawaiin feather dusters<br />1 dwarf colored feather duster

Freshwater... Enchanted is where I have been going and I am not impressed... I looked at the one on Fairview briefly when I first got my tank... I'll have to go back and check it out.... It didn't seem so superfly... but that was before I had really even seen fish. I've actually had the most luck at Zamzows... girl5.gif
