Well I went down today and can say it's definitely the best store in the state bar none. Due to the problems with Waterbury aquarium and the Paroon they sold me Terry gave me one for free. I also picked up a nice large Bichir and a pair of Red Terrors (real ones, not fake ass Uros). I definitely would go back again, healthiest fish I've seen in a petstore and certainly fair prices. He had healthy rays, colorful healthy Discus, a few rare knives, etc.

Thanks for coming down! It was nice talking to you and your wife. Hope all goes well with the paroon.

He seems to be doing well, darting around like someone put 'cane in his tank.

I am always on the look out for them, unfortunately they have been too large 15"+ or too sickly. My local had 3 or 4 two weaks ago that were basically DOA in their tanks. So if good ones come around I will pm you. I have had P. granulosus a couple of times, they are very similar as far as I can tell.

Has anyone been to this store lately? I haven't ever been yet and I'm curious to know what kinds of fish they currently have.

I visited this store recently when I was driving around in the area. I figured I'd pop in to see what was there. I must say, the store is still very nice. Great selection of healthy fish and the prices are awesome. I even saw quite a few Rays, and not the "typical pet store stock." For CT, this was amazing...I saw true Flowers and a Jaguar...the prices were great too!
I know the owner had wanted to get into selling high-end Rays...maybe that will be a good outlet for me to unload some Leo babies when mine finally get 'a breeding!
