The staff at this store that I've talked to usually have no clue about fish. I think it might be a family owned store and most of the family are just here helping out but I could be wrong. I went in once asking for firemouths and had to point out which ones they were. They are very willing to help though and are very friendly, but you better know what you're looking for when you go in.

As for the stock, they have your usual 'bread 'n butter' fish. They have the best prices in the the area from what I've noticed and usually have deals on buying pairs or 3 or more of a species. However, the fish aren't always in the best color because the tanks are usually quite overcrowded...though this isn't at all uncommon in pet stores.

The thing I've noticed about this store is that every once in a while you can find a great deal here. Last week I found a RTC x TSN cat that was approx. 8-10" that I believe they were selling for $25. This was the first store in the area that I found a bristlenose plec, though I paid $15 for it.

If you're in the area, this store is worth a look, but don't get your hopes up too much. smile.gif

They have new ownership now and are still nice as ever. They are knowlegible about their fish now. Old ownership was a little skeptical. If you dont see what you are looking for just ask and they will do what they can do get it in for you and they still have great prices!!
