Not sure of the exact address as I only visited during vacation. It's on the northwestern part of the city off the Remount Rd. exit of I-26. Great store, great staff, great selection. Good with ponds, too.

Employees are extremely helpful and pleasant, I have found I go in to grab food and I end up staying for an hour. Great looking fish as well, and they will get you anything you need!! Ask for Robert or Justin!

I worked there for a year or so when I was in college and it is an excellent shop. I have tried to visit as many shops as possible along the east coast and this is the best I have been in. Their selection of fish is always excellent with oddballs being the norn rather than the exception. I also have to say that Chris and Justin are very knowledgable and passionate about their work, if not always the most attentive.

If you are ever in the area, I would certainly suggest stopping by and giving them a look.
Collecting must be done in an environmentally sound and responsible manner.

Not all native fishes are suitable for aquaria, and some species may test the skills of even the most experienced aquarist. Research the biology and captive requirements of each species before an attempt is made to remove them from the wild.

Fishes or other aquatic organisms must not be relocated or introduced into any outdoor bodies of water, even to places where they were originally collected (except catch and immediate release), including specimens raised in private aquaria. Realize that there are complicated and often unknown ecological processes at work in aquatic systems which may make fish introductions detrimental to the system. Potential problems from such introductions include displacement of native species, spread of disease, and the loss of genetic diversity via hybridization.

I'm a regular customer at Tideline, it's definitely the best fish store I've set foot in. Chris has helped me out many times when I would have a question and he always seems to give me the best advice. I will always be a customer of Tideline. They allowed me to go from having an aquarium to loving having an aquarium.

I went to Tideline all the time when I lived in Charleston in the early to mid 90's. I now live in Chicago and just set up a 180 gallon tank. I called to talk to Chris and he even remember who I was, 10 years later. He is very professional and EXTREMELY knowledgable. I would visit them again in a heartbeat, but I am in Illinois now. Go there if you have a chance.
