 What to keep with 8'' Jardini Arowana? |

This Jardini has been peacuful so far. He is living with some silverdollars and some cats. I was wondering if I can add something else. Maybe a cichlid or something.
Jardini -------------------- 125 Arowana Tank: 8'' Jardini Arowana, 4'' Redhook Silverdollar, 3'' Silverdollar, 12'' Synodontis catfish, and a 14'' Lima Shovelnose.
20 Angel Tank: 2 Angelfish, 1 lepronius, 2 tinfoil barbs, 3 buneous aires tetras, 1 pictus catfish, 1 pleco.  |

Depending on where you get them, yes, they can be quite expensive. At a few stores I go to, they are normally about $150-300 depending on species and size

DO NOT keep Rays with a Jardini. They tend to get extremely aggressive at around 10-12". I had to keep mine completely by himself when he was 19" because he would kill or try to kill everything kept with him, including some of the most aggressive Cichlids out there.
If you want to try your hand at rays, PLEASE set up a separate tank or get rid of the Jardini for a Silver or Black Aro. Too many Rays die in captivity as it is... -------------------- DragonMoon Nature Photography

Yes I am planning on getting a separate tank!
